Statement of Beliefs

The Bible
The Life House believes and fully embraces the Holy Bible and believes it to be written from the inspiration of God. All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness. (2 Timothy 3:16)

One God
We believe there is one God (Deuteronomy 6:4) and that He is the creator of heaven and earth and all living beings. He has revealed himself to humanity as the Father (Creator), as the Son (Savior), and as the Holy Ghost (indwelling spirit). 

Salvation
Everyone has sinned and needs salvation. Salvation comes by grace through faith based on the atoning sacrifice of Jesus Christ. (Romans 3:23-25; 6:23; Ephesians 2:8-9)

Baptism
We believe in water baptism (immersion) in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ for the remission of sins. Through baptism we identify with the death, burial and resurrection of Jesus Christ. (Romans 6:3-6; Acts 2:38) Baptism of the Holy Spirit We believe the initial sign of the baptism of the Holy Spirit is speaking with other tongues as the spirit gives the utterance. (Acts 2:4)
